I find malls or big streets to be the worst for me, and I don't think it is the places themselves but more so the amount of people around me. If a mall or street is bunched with people, I really start to struggle, gasping for air. I sometimes need to find the bathroom so I can lock myself in there for five minutes just so I can get myself together again. I am not as bad as before but it depends on my mood and confidence, it I'm having a bad day and feel low in myself, I really do feel like everyone is looking at me or laughing at me when in all honesty, they are not even noticing me one bit. I don't know if you can stop yourself feeling this way, I feel much more comfortable indoors and when I get home I relax straight away, like a massive weight has come off my shoulders. Hopefully this will all ease.

You might want to try some breathing exercises for you to use when you get in one of these situations. I don't know if you have a therapist but if you do they should be able to help you with this. I'm glad you feel much better when you get home. You can overcome this, I did, but it took a lot of work. I had a great therapist, so i was lucky.
