Has anyone had real (no doubt) success using Kava root for anxiety? I tried a kava extract one time and it made my tongue so numb I had difficulty speaking clearly.
If you have had success, please include information on brand name, form(powder, tincture, etc), how much to take, when to take.
Hoping to find something that is convenient. I cannot just stop working to go make a cup of tea!
I am so tired relying on perscription drugs.

Did you find anything out about this? I am also curious about kava root. Do you have a herbal shop anywhere near where you live? Or anyone advertising services as an herbalist? They might be able to give you suggestions on other ways to use it. We have one here; I should look into it.

The only info I could find on the internet is that there are different forms of kava. Depending on what you are trying to achieve (calmness without sedation), you can buy it from different countries. Going by what I read, it sounds like the kava from the country of Vanuatu is the best. I need to do more research.
