I wasn't sure where to put this so, if someone on here could help me out, I'd be so very thankful. So, I've always been stressed, and at times, paranoid. But now, the stress is getting worse, and the stress can lead to terrible paranoia and sometimes it takes over. I feel like I'll hear something that really isn't there are even see something and it ends up not being there. Lie one time after an especially stressful day of school, I walked up to my room, feeling anxiety take over me, when i heard distant voices, like ones being played on a TV. I checked my mom's room, but I knew she wasn't home and her TV wasn't on, because her car wasn't in the garage. Sometimes, something else will happen. I'll be laying in bed, unable to sleep, and I'll be staring at the wall, or a mirror or something. A few times before, I saw some sort of small glowing light slowly flashing on and off, sort of like it was coming from somewhere near my bed and reflecting off the mirror, but no light was on whenever that has happened. I've been worried about this for a little while. Is this paranoia and stress, or something worse???

I get all that too. So far what you mentioned doesn't sound too serious at all and I dare say some what common. However, I would definitely see a doc about your anxiety, even your General Primary Family Doc. Let him also know about your other symptoms. This is nothing to worry about, but no one should have to go through all that stress. It's painful and some thing can be done to help.

Sorry to hear. From my understanding, it is all the stress causing the paranoia. I'd ck with a pdoc and see about a benzo or an AAP like Latuda. Best of luck!!

do you get migraines? when I'm super stressed out I experience something sorta like you described. I see flashing lights in my peripheral vision...but that just means I'm about to get a screaming migraine.
since you are worried, you should mention it to your dr. |
