Hello all. I have been diagnosed with Bipolar II and BPD traits but I have never been diagnosed with Anxiety. however, I have these attacks that I can only presume are anxiety or panic attacks. They happen at night almost always, as I'm trying to go to sleep.

I will just start thinking of the logistics of everything, nature, the planet, fresh food and water supplies...and how it all works. Before you know it, i'm pulling at my hair, curled up in a ball, breathing hard, heart racing, sweating, etc. It's just overwhelming.

Last night in particular, I started thinking about how my heart has been beating since conception and how it has simply not stopped. The same thing happened...sweating, fast breathing, heart racing, etc. as I thought about it beating reliably and all the ins & outs of that and how one day it will stop and no one kn0ows when. It was really stressful.

I'm not sure what this is called...but just thought I'd ask to see if anyone else goes through this or knows.

Thanks in advance.

yes, it definitely sounds like a panic attack. you need to learn to let the thoughts pass through your mind without judgment. imagine a door at the front of your mind and another at the back of your mind. the thoughts come in the front door and you just let them pass on through and out the back door. do not attach to them. just let them pass on through. take care.
