Yes that's right. TWO. Both of my sons are getting married, one in July with estimated 200 guests, the other in Sept with estimated 100 guests. I haven't started panicking yet but how in the world do I handle a group that large where I have to actually interact with them? Its not like a restaurant where you don't talk to everyone. Right now with them a far off haze I'm ok but I just realized the first one is in 4 months and 22 days. Not long! What would you all do to keep focus on bride and groom and not panic about my role in the festivities?

My sister got married last October and my parents started planning for it probably a year in advance.

How big a role do you have in the weddings? Is the thought of all the people you have to deal with that is overwhelming. At my daughter's wedding I took clonazapam, pasted a smile on, and kept chanting in my brain, I can do this..and I did..it wasn't easy but I did..and you will too.. |

I have my daughter's wedding approaching and I have the same fears. My pdoc has given me an rx which I have already started because the stress seems overwhelming. I like your self talk advice Bellaboop.
Best of luck emomom.
