Hi guys, I go to a boarding school and lately my anxiety has been bad enough I wonder if I need to go home for awhile. I'm constantly scared of losing control of myself and I feel like I've got to find a way to manage things.
To make it worse I'm not getting the answers I wish I was. My therapist first said I might have OCD, now she's saying its just obsessions without OCD. Well, my school counselor totally misunderstand and thinks I enjoy some of the thoughts that I have, and that I unconsciously make those up for excitement.
So I can't talk about the obsessions around them anymore. And I really don't have many people to talk to about it there, as far as adults.
It's just so bad i'm scared to go to school. and sometimes I refuse to even be in my room alone because i start having crying spells or get scared.
is there a point where I need to take a break from going there? I really like it there, that's not a problem, It's just getting hard to deal with everything.
Hugs from:

I come from a boarding school background myself, and a lot of my problems surfaced around that time, so I kind of understand a little of what you're going through. A break may be just what you need, but unless you get help during the break, everything will just come back when you return. Are you seeing a doctor as well as a therapist?
