My therapist suggested I go to an Anxiety Support Group, has anyone been to one? Was it a good experience? Helpful?

I've never even heard of a support group for that. I should really look into one for myself

I have recently. It was helpful. You get to know about services in the area that could benefit you and that you are not alone. Everyone understands how you are feeling or at least can relate. I plan on going to more once my schedule changes.

Sure, there are many anxiety groups - at least where I live there are. Check out Meet Up for your location, check online for groups in your area, ask around at the place you receive medical care. Anxiety groups are incredibly helpful.

In my area, there are few if any Anxiety support groups. I wish there were more in my general area, because I would for sure take part in participating in one.

If there isn't a group in your area, my suggestion is to start a peer support group. I promise you'll get people who desperately need the group and will attend.
