I just learned today that my best friend and only support (outside of my T and PC) will be checking into an in-patient mental health facility. My abandonment issues sky rocketed as well as my anxiety. Next week, I am supposed to start processing some bad memories and now I will have to do it alone without my support. I don't know how long she will be there, last time I think was 6 months! I don't get to talk to her while she is there.

So sorry to hear about this celtic, and I'm sure you feel stressed to the nth degree. Hopefully, it won't be as long for your friend as previous, but do try to remember that she has to take care of her mental health too ... it will make her stronger to help herself and you.

Meantime, we are always here for you...message any time. I wish you well, on this difficult journey and am sending strong thoughts your way to help.

Today my pd told me the same. You can't help another person if you aren't strong enough. It's going to be hard be without her but it's going to be the best for her.
Thanks for this!

And I know that. I am happy she is getting the help/treatment she needs/deserves. I just wish I had another support ( I know I have PC and my T, and I don't mean any disrespect but it is not the same).

Yes, it's so hard and much more when it's the only person you trust. Lot of hugs
