I am currently on Effexor for anxiety and I am curious if anyone else is on it and if they get these feelings.

around 4 hours after taking them I feel this cold dull... butterfly like feeling in my stomach not sure if that is nausea or some other side effect.

I had some nausea on Effexor at first. Eventually it went away, but it was pretty bad in the beginning.

Try sipping some gingerale or ginger tea (either hot or iced). It will help the queasiness.

Ginger ale helped me. Sucking on mints or chewing mint-flavored gum helped me as well.
