I was put on a med awhile back - but all it did was make me fall asleep (literally would make me fall asleep - daytime/nighttime/any time). So, stopped taking that for practical reasons.
So are there any medications that can help with anxiety? |

Hey, I dont matter!
![]() ![]() Yes, I take Klonopin. I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder, not otherwise specified. But it would be good, in my opinion, to see if something less strong and "addictive" might work, such as Valium. I am sure there are some other drugs, too. I know Ativan is given because it acts more quickly, but I don't know how doping that is. It seems to take a lot of drugs to knock me out. What do you other folks take and with what results? |

I take Paxil. It took a couple weeks to kick in but once it did it really worked. I still have moments of panic but they are easier to overcome.

Hi!
Klonopin helps me a ton but a low dose won't affect me at all. Docs like Klonopin because if you take it as recommended, you shouldn't get a high from it. But with all of benzos, there is a risk of dependency so you just need to be responsible. Good Luck! ![]() |
