I've had such bad anxiety about it, nearly giving myself a panic attack this morning. I am close with my Aunt and feel like I have to go. I'm dreading it.

I can't make conversations with people, and if they are all getting loud and drunk I will feel so uncomfortable.

I can't cancel, even though I'm still trying to think of an excuse now.
I literally want to cry

How on earth will I get through it!

If you go to your Aunt's and the people are loud and getting drunk you have every right to leave ... give yourself permission to do so. You don't have to make a big deal about it ... just say you need to go. Nobody should have to tolerate a drunk or addict who is using. You can still love them ... just not be around bad behavior.

I agree, give yourself permission to bow out, when being there gets too overwhelming.
