I am 55, female, depression, anxiety, mildly bipolar, and now think I have some social anxiety, but did not realize what it was all this time. Have not had many jobs or held a job for more than a year for the last 15 years. Hello to all!

Well, I had a lot when I was a child. Acid reflux started in 3rd grade. My father had alcohol and anger management problems and physically and emotionally abused us.

I meant to say that I did not realize until very recently I have some social phobia. Everything else I have had for many years.

Hello, anxiety can really wreak havoc. I never paid much attention to the term and it seemed like a lesser problem to me, before I got it. My T says it can manifest itself in many ways, physical issues like heart problems, etc, and mental like depression. I have the latter and went to the T thinking I'd get treated for depression, but she's only concerned with the anxiety. Was an eye opener for me.

Link Glok posted is pretty good, I've been going through that a bit lately.
