No!! I was doing so well for about maybe 5 days, then my husband came home last evening and said starting Friday he's going to have to start taking the car to work til he gets a new truck. His truck is very old, and he claims it wouldn't pass inspection this time - last day for sticker today. That did it. My anxiety is back. I don't like being home alone all day without a vehicle. Occasionally a day or 2, but this could be weeks as he's got to sell his truck first before he has any money to even think about buying another one. It totally messes up my visiting my parents in the afternoons, too. Something I started in May when my mom got out of the hospital. I'll have to wait til he gets home now, which messes up the evenings, unless I just don't go. My son liked to go with papa to the post office, and now he won't be able to. Plus just so frustrated. He's known this was coming for weeks and hasn't put forth any effort I've seen in trying to sell his truck. Urgh - I don't want to be back to this place!! Self-talk isn't working much. Yeah, I can still see my parents, but it just messes up the groove I've gotten in. I don't like change.

So sorry, birdpumpkin. Do you have access to other ways to get around such as a bus, a taxi, or a friend who might be willing to take you places sometimes?

No I don't Travelinglady. This is a rural area; and I'm about 4 miles out in the country away from the nearest small town, so a vehicle is pretty much a must. I may be able to have my mom take me to my appointment next week. I'll have to arrange something somehow. Not sure how long this will take. He looked on Craigslist at my suggestion last night and said everything was too far away and cost too much, so...
