Hello,

Just looking for some support..I graduated recently and started my first job four weeks ago and I still feel anxious when I go in to work..I work in the health care sector so I provide patient care but for some reason I get super anxious because I'm still entry level..I've heard it takes about a year to become completely confident as a physical therapist but I Just can't shake the butterflies and nervousness I get before going in..i wake up super early just thinking about it..I've told my boss how I feel and they basically just tell me I need to have more confidence in myself..I've worked so hard to get here and now I'm feeling nervous mostly because I have a patient that is super hard to work with ..I was just wondering if it's normal to feel anxious as entry level and if anyone has had similar experiences and how they are or did deal with it :/ it would really help or even words of encouragement

Welcome to the Community, Yak42. New experiences often bring stress and anxiety. Do you have a supervisor who might help you with the problematical patient?
