Just started (today) Effexor XR 37.5 1/day --

I asked my Psych MD for the impossible - a new drug for depression /anxiety that does not put me to sleep -increase mood & energy and if possible lowers not increases my appetite and most important does what the instruction page says ... and most important : Helps restore your interest in daily living

I used to be in Celexa in the past --it seem to be great for a years or so -and no side effects new I just started Effexor XR after really major anxiety over
posted written here under the drug --side effects scare me... I'm really bad at missing a dose of something here and there. Even the PRO+ comments posted negative side effects and some were all positive I had try it

The lure of wanting a new drug to increase energy & mood and help restore my interest in daily life just overpowered my common sense Keep away from it.

wanted user feedback --I know every individual will respond differently and the same drug may positive or negative side effects -- but I would appreciate user feedback both Positive and negative and please include your dosage & length of use if possible

Thanks for your support - earlyadapter

I took Effexor briefly and it didn't work for me. It's been years ago, though, and I can't remember what my side effects were. My sis has taken it for years and done very well on it.

I took Effexor for a while and it did help I believe initially. Be aware it can raise your blood pressure especially if you have high BP anyway.
