HOW in the world do people with GAD function???? I cannot even shower or do my work or anything without a major struggle- it feels like I am climbing a mountain even to brush my teeth.

What do you do????

I understand that everyday activities tend to drain me, I'm working in therapy and by myself with a self help workbook to learn coping skills and ways to manage anxiety

I have dealt with anxiety for years and sometimes I just freak out in my mind because I have to brush my teeth, then use a tongue cleaner, THEN I have to rinse with mouthwash. All these simple steps get me stressed and overwhelmed in my mind.

It's our mind that's telling us that we can't handle things in life. If we can somehow change the way we think, we'll be OK.

Divalproex (Valproic Acid) 600mg daily
Seroquel (Quetiapine) 100mg daily
