I am not sure where to put this... I guess it has to be an "other" category.

I have a fear of the number 6. Well, actually 666 - but even one six can bother me. And it has built into anything that adds up to six or multiples to six or worse yet a six and a three (cuz my mind that equals three sixes).

I feel that God is sending me messages and the concept is very upsetting to me.

Anyone have anything like this??? Any advice?

I don't have this or any good advice, really, but I do have a family member who is afraid of 1111. Seeing 11:11 on a clock, for instance, really upsets her. She cannot even hear 1111 spoken aloud without freaking out.

Are you afraid of messages, communications, etc? The number 6 rules those, as well as grade schools and children.

I would ask your MD or therapist about that.

I heard once from a psychiatrist that people with ocd have major problems with the number 6. I don't know why. Interesting for sure.

I'm so sorry you're going through this, it must be terrible as there are always going to be numbers all around us... on the news, on clocks, even at the grocery when being rung up. I once bought some stuff and it came to $6.66 and the cashier said, "Oh no, buy an extra pack of gum or something!" So I did and felt a little better.

But please, as for your fear that it's a sign from God, I think God and your guardian angels are sending you a positive sign. Please click here to read about Angel #6.
