Is it possible to get really sick due to really bad anxiety? Mine has been out of control lately and suddenly I am sick. Its like a cold. I have heard about "thinking yourself sick", but I just do not know if this is the same idea.

Chronic stress and anxiety can lower your immune system and make you more susceptible to getting sick. But it could also just be that it's cold season.
Thanks for this!
