Does having anxiety cause heart problems? There was a time in my life in which I felt anxiety more often than the usual and I occasionaly felt pain in my chest.

It can cause rapid heart rate and chest pain that aren't actually dangerous, but just to be on the safe side, you should probably also get checked out by a doctor to make sure there aren't any physiological problems going on that need to be treated.

I felt like this too but it's because of the anxiety that made me feel like I had heart problems since it speeds up the heart. Really my heart is fine. If that makes sense.
