Has anyone ever broken out in the hives due to stress or worry?

When I was younger twice I had to go to the emergency room from hives. Once my freshman year in high school when I was overwhelmed with worry and suffering from depression and anxiety, but not yet diagnosed. The second time was at work when I was covering for my manager while she was on vacation. Both times I woke up covered in them. Since I've been on medication I've not had them.

Recently my skin feels both numb and itchy. I don't know if I'm on the verge of breaking out and my meds are stopping it or if it's something else entirely. It's been happening off and on since Thanksgiving. Anyone ever experience something like this?
