ive noticed when i wipe after a bowel movement sometimes there's 1-2 small flecks of red on the paper. when i press them with paper they are very dry and i can blow them off the toilet paper.

today ive seen one again so i picked it up with my finger and it was a clear red (not light or bright but definitely red) and it felt dry and a bit hard on my finger. it was around 1mm.

i remember sometimes when i picked my nose id bleed a bit and sometimes there were similar dry red flecks in my nose... before they turned black-ish. im wondering if it's actually blood?

i dont remember eating red but im not sure.

can these particles be blood from the colon? i worry about transverse colon cancer.

No one here can diagnose, but it's more probable that it's just from outer irritation. But if you're worried, contact a gastroenterologist for advice and possibly a colonoscopy. Good luck.

Sometimes you can get a small tear down there and it could be something healing or even as pnw1 said just hemaroids. I'm sure everything will be fine but if you're worried go and get checked out
