Hi,
I have this jittery feeling all the time, and whenever I hear a noise I shock very easily. I never had this in my life. When I google on "hyperarousel stress" I get a lot of results on ptsd. I had a lot of prolonged stress but is it possible that i developed ptsd or c-ptsd? I didnt have a particularly loving education from my parents but it was not physical nor sexual abusive. THe relation with my wife wasnt easy, we fought quite a lot imho. Could that trigger this hyperarousal state or even ptsd?

Dx: Mix anhedonia with Bipolar II. Add some insomnia and chronic stress. Season with paroxetine and a pinch of ADD. Stir well to induce a couple of hypo/manic episodes. After the excess of energy is gone, remove the Paroxetine and serve chilled with some C-PTSD and GAD. Ready is your MDD. Mx: To clean up the mess use lamotrigine, risperidon, mirtazapine and sertraline. Let it soak in for a while but keep a close eye on it. Meanwhile enjoy your desert of oxazepam/temazepam prn. |

If this is something that is causing you significant concern in your everyday function; I would like to suggest that you please see a doctor about this. Next, I would like to give a personal opinion on what you have asked; as it is merely a personal one and certainly not one given with medical advice. The way you describe your hyperarousal state with no other details I guess means you are in a state of hyperarousal and it is increasing your awareness and possible startle response. I can not really say on the basis alone of what you have written whether it is ptsd or not .............. Others opinions may differ. ![]() |
