I'm really disappointed with myself. My social anxiety problem is killing me inside.

I was popular back then but i moved to a new high school and everything seem different. Even so, I'm friends with everyone, i have no problem with all of them.
But there's one group of highly popular girls that i just can't fit in, they are nice and friendly to me, and they see me as their friend.
But it's really awkward talking to them. And sometimes i even become weird.

I'm usually loud but with them i suddenly become quiet, i can't share any stories and express any of my feelings, i just freeze.

I'm not 'lower' than them, but why do i feel really low...

No one is a perfect fit for every person or group of people. To be able to say that you get along well with everyone in a whole school i think is something that most of us would be envious of to say the least!

I think your feeling "low" because you've set such high standard for yourself to be able to fit in with people and now you've encountered a situation where you haven't met your own expectations.

Next time your around this group of girls, just relax and be yourself and if its not meant to be then its not meant to be. No reason to blame yourself for not being socially perfect, because no one is!

Best of luck to you, and i hope you get feeling better!
