For the past few weeks, I have been feeling anxious pretty much all the time. Last week I had a stomach bug and it made me so anxious that I had multiple anxiety attacks. I went to urgent care and my family doctor and they didn't do much for me. I also have hypothyroidism which had made my anxiety severe. I'm tired of having to cancel plans and call in sick to work because of this. I take xanax at night, but I'd like to stop because it's becoming addicting. The anxiety causes physical symptoms like tingling in my arms, back pain, fast heart rate, weakness, etc. and I start thinking I'm having a heart attack every time is happens. Yesterday I had to leave work because my resting heart rate was over 100BPM. I'm seeing another doctor today to try and get referred to a specialist to make sure it's not heart related.... Does anyone go through this on a daily basis? Even when I'm resting at home I still don't feel okay... I feel like I can't live a normal life anymore. This has all happened within the last 6 months too. Please help

I'm sorry you are having a tough time at the moment. I experience anxiety and have found mindfulness really helpful.
Hope you get to feel more settled soon. Soup
