Well talking about it can help me and finding a therapist if it's severe. (though prob too late by Monday) If you struggle at home finding something to distract works well. If you struggle during the presentation just take a time out and breathe and remember you're awesome

Is this a serious thread? I'm guessing no, but I'll play along anyway.

If it's so bad that you can't breathe etc. then it might be better to postpone the presentation until later or just struggle through it and hope no one notices. Other than that try benzodiazepines, anti-depressants or cognitive behavioral therapy.

What makes you think you have to 'play
along' ? What makes you think it is not
serious . . . .what do you base that opinion
on?

I have struggled with anxiety, panic attacks, and various related things my entire life. In school, it was very difficult for me when I had to give a presentation. Some teachers knew about it. I think some might have let me give the presentation just to them with no one else around or just hand it in without having to get up and talk.

I do remember not being able to opt out though at times, and it was incredibly difficult. But I tried to just take some deep breaths and focus on what I was saying and try to forget anyone was watching me.

I even joined a drama class to try to overcome it, but it unfortunately did not help.

It helped to remind myself once it was done, it was done...and whatever happened happened..So, I tried to keep that in mind so I knew it was not going to last forever.

How did it go (since I'm clearly late in replying)?
