Well I survived my trip - non-stop the way out and connection on the way back...

The person who booked my seats knew that I needed a window seat - have to be able to see what is going on...

Deep breath - I'm home...

Congratulations. I admire you. I have never taken a plane, and do not know if I will ever will.

Having just gone through a 13 hour plane ride, I feel as elated as you. Congrats on a journey completed.

Another door awaits ....

Thanks - I think having a engineering background doesn't help me much...

I have another flight in August and one in October - part of a professional organization - being president - I'm required to go to the national stuff...

Yes, that is something to be proud of! I hate to fly. If a trip is planned a year out, I immediately get more worried about the flight than excited for the vacation. I usually curl into a ball and grab on for dear life to the person I'm with. Funny thing is, the one time I had to fly alone- I right away told the old couple next to me to get ready- I might be reaching for them during take-off! This is one of my "multiple-Xanax" situations!
