My doctor prescribe me prozac 10mg for two months and I'm already on week 5 and have seen some improvements, but I still feel sometimes lingering feelings of anxiety and I think it's because I'm still thinking of old feelings of which I remember or I'm not being occupy enough. I'm a bit hesistant because I don't want to increase the dose.

Week 5 is still pretty early. I would wait and see what happens but keep communicating with your doctor. They will be able to help you manage the dose as needed.

Are you also working with a therapist about your anxiety? Medications can really help to manage the symptoms but aren't always able to completely manage the problem. Often we need to look at other coping techniques as well.

I had the same and they stopped after a couple of months, when they kicked in properly and I started seeing a therapist. It will get better, just hang in there.
Thanks for this!
