hi everyone ,
im going through a bad crying spell.my bro has gotten to my last nerve causing my anxiety level to start shooting again .he complains over every little thing I do and reports it to my sister. he calls me names like moron and **** today now that he is home from work .I don't see my therapist until Thursday afternoon . ugh everyone I need some help here before I rip my hair out !!!!! who ever came up with the word moron shall get their heads bash to the ground!!!!

Hi spring. Brothers can be a challenge to deal with.

What I do with criticism is redefine it in my mind.

EX
Someone calls me a moron.

In my mind (this is not something you say to the other person, that is bickering) I think to myself. You are right, I am more on the ball than anyone you know.

We can reinterpret anything someone says.

The other secret is to not react. Just to smile or ignore them. When we can find the place of non reaction.

This is a very good post and I agree with it. That said I'm sorry that your brother is being mean and that your anxiety is so high. I hope that things improve soon hon.
