I have been having cold hands lately and I feel worried because it's giving me anxiety when it happens because i'm afraid it might give cold flashes. I have had hot flashes before when feeling anxious so I guess this is the opposite. I have been talking to a counselor and she says it's normal, I just think if I was still taking an ssri I would feel less anxiety. Any tips on how to deal with it? Thanks

Now that you say that I also have cold hands when I am anxious, but I don't know if it is directly related to that

I'm not sure since I have cold hands from another medical condition but the hot flashes def. happen when I'm having a high level of anxiety.

definitely for me it is the hot flashes !!! my former choir director had cold hands cuz of her blood wasn't pumping through her body. my hands get itchy when my anxiety level is high .I start to sweat big time and my eyes get blurry .I had a panic attack before my therapist got into the office when my appointment that I had w her got changed to 2:00 instead of 1:00 cuz she had an appointment for her mammogram done that day . I was breathing funny then all of a sudden my heart started to race and my breathing was going bad and l felt like I was choking .the receptionist told me to go and lie down on the couch and try to breathe through my nose and out from my mouth. I thought it would pass but it didn't it pass until my therapist got into the office and the receptionist told her that I had a a panic attack .

I don't know if this is from a different condition, but I have cold hand at times. It's usually not when I am about to have a panic attack because I feel extremely hot, but when I am anxious and not having a panic attack, I have cold hands.

I have very cold hands almost all the time. Also, I have cold feet. It might be because I have poor circulation (my mothers speculation) or my anxiety...

This is interesting, I have cold hands and have no idea why, perhaps it could be anxiety.

I think cold hands are a common symptom of anxiety.
For me, I get hot hands and head when I have waves of anxiety. |
