I have constant jaw pain from clenching my jaw a/o grinding my teeth from being anxious. It's really affecting my life. TMJ & Anxiety.TMJ & Anxiety. I take ibuprofen daily for pain. I am a recovering addict, so I do not take anything for anxiety. Does anyone know of any treatment for this besides meds? I have had my bite adjusted, I take 5HTP, and I consciously try NOT to do this. I just catch myself doing it!

There are lots of exercises you can do to strengthen your jaw which will make it hurt a little less.

I also got a "retainer" looking thing that molded to my teeth so at least I could stop hurting my teeth at night. It was something like $20 at Walgreens.
Thanks for this!

Thank you, I am going to check out the options at my Walgreens! I will google the jaw exercises as well.
