So last week, I went and got evaluated in order to hopefully get some ADHD meds. Come to find out I was misdiagnosed with schizoaffective disorder depressive type in 2012. I also still had ADHD-inattentive ( a very severe form) & I was newly diagnosied with GAD & Panic Disorder.
My dr. Is currently treating my anxiety and panic disoder with Prozac, recently upped it to 20mg today.

I feel like my anxiety is worse and im on the verge of a panic attack currently. This medicince makes me extremely tired.

My next appointment is in 2 weeks.
Not to mention, I have a job interview tommorrow.
Hugs from:

Tiger, sorry you are suffering from anxiety. That is a heavy load to bear when trying to cope with life's stresses. Here is an article we discussed in anxiety support chat on Friday at 8PM EDT. How to Halt and Minimize Panic Attacks | Psych Central

Another related article is Overcoming Fears, Phobias and Panic Attacks | Psych Central

This is how I practice lessing anxiety through relaxed and mindful breathing.
The first thing we talked about trying is an exercise to count the breath.
One on the inhale
Two on the exhale
normal breathing
Three on the inhale
Four on the exhale
continuing up to 10

Then go back to 1. Try this in the morning when you get up, during the day, or when you are trying to go to sleep.
