I've experienced trouble sleeping, waking up in the middle of the night... I started waking up super jittery , heart racing, obsessive thoughts of worry anger etc flooding my mind every morning. it lasts about 2 hours and by the time it stops I have to get up to work. it's a struggle... but I can't tell if that's depression or the anti/depressants. it's been 1 week of taking Zoloft and feeling this way... but I can't recall which came first... stress is messing with my memory.

has anyone else experienced that? could it be medication?

I know zoloft made my anxiety worse even though it helps a lot of people. Meds can definitely cause temporary side effects just while starting up, though, so if it's only been a week it'll probably get better. I'm going through the same thing right now with Pristiq, experiencing anxiety symptoms I forgot I could even have, and hoping it's just the start up. Good luck!
