I'm bipolar type two and take gabapentin for a stabilizer. I remember once being put on it for anxiety way back. I've only been put back on it for about a week and at a small dose so I'm not sure if it's helping yet.
What is everyone else's experience with gaba? If it did help with anxiety, at what dose. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It worked well for me starting at 100mg 3x a day. You may very well need more, currently I'm at 300mg 3x a day.

GABA is great when you're in tons of pain. It seems to enhance receptors or something. I was prescribed it with Norco 10. Big difference between the combo and just
Opioids alone. Also was on it later for anxiety. I think I remember you had no problems getting off this drug. It was tortuous for me. Sometimes I measure a drugs potential danger by how hard the withdrawals are.

I just titrated up today to 200mg three times a day and then next week is 300 three times a day. I also still take klonopin but I've gotten used to it and it barely works anymore. My pdoc said gaba was very mild so I'll probably go up to 1200mg a day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I started at 100mg three times daily and got no benefit. I went up from there and it has been great. I get no benefit from benzos so gaba is a godsend. I'm at 600mg three times a day now. I hope it helps you
