Mine is a long story which saddens it. It has been a long time since i had a panic attack/anxiety incident. The last one i had was about 5 years old.
Now, I am triggered because of work. It seems, it is because my boundaries have been crossed and i was unable to fend for myself. In my history, i had PTSD due to abuse. Seen the counselors and psychologists. However, it is recent that stressful events happened at work that i had a breakdown (crying at work) which triggered some anxiety issues in me. and i feel helpless about it. not knowing what to do next. because i m unable to reveal this to my employer. limited support from family and friends. i am stuck and sad. Just hoping i can get some help here. |

Hi,
I'm sorry that you are in so much pain and going through such a difficult time. Are you able to explain more about your work problems? That may help. Of course, if you are uncomfortable doing so, that is fine. I do not reside in Asia, so I am unfamiliar with Worker's Rights there - laws to protect employees. If your rights are being violated, can you talk to your boss or supervisor? You deserve a safe work environment. If that is not an option, can you quit and find another job? What are your options? We are here to support you. Please post more about this if you can. Take care. |

Hi all,
thank you all for your messages. it has been about 2 months now since my post in May. It's still quite stressful at work and i didn't want to quit the job because i don't want it to affect my resume. Recently, i noticed that the anxiety and stress has been more prominent - emotional breakdown and emotions. already seeing a counsellor but i am thinking it may have to increase in frequency and maybe go back to the psychologist whom i have stopped going after she moved to another town. |
