Hello all, I need support and education about how I can help my husband with Panic Disorder. I work as a mental health professional and I have been trying to support my husband as much as I possibly can by offering him emotional support and education I would give to any other client with similar symptoms; but he's not my client and I'm too close to the situation to think objectively and creatively. He's already seeing a counselor who practices the Free Association model, which my husband likes. However, he also has a medical problem that requires him to take certain medication for, but he's sooooo terrified about taking any pill/medication that is not already part of his current medications. I've tried to help him the best I can, but I'm getting burnt out and I don't know what to do anymore to help him (other than what I've already done).

Would he be open to joining this forum and talking to us? We share his illness and that's why we are all here... To get support from others who also suffer.
