I passed out cold from a panic attack about a week ago when I was getting my blood taken. I would say I've passed out about 10 times or so, in my life, from panic attacks. The panic attack almost always ends in vomiting or passing out, or close to. Who else actually passes out, looses contiousness during a panic attack?

I have passed out and come close a few times. The last time was a few years ago. I felt it coming and unfortunately I was more concerned with embarrassing myself in public than taking care of myself at that moment and I blacked out.

I learned that laying down with a focus on breathing (no shallow breathing) helps me as long as act on it when I start feeling the symptoms.

Does having blood taken usually bother you? That is common for many people.
Thanks for this!

Sometimes having my blood taken can trigger a panic attack, but sometimes it more just about embarrassing myself in public, which I seem to have a tendency to do. Basically, it could be any senerio where I am a the focus of attention and in public, but I've also had panic attacks, where I've quite nearly passed out, when I've been alone at night.
Thanks for this!

Mine seem to be triggered by hearing news that deeply concerns me. But, I had a strange one at the eye doctor where the nurse took me in an elevator to go to another floor for a test and I started feeling like I would pass out. I ended up sitting down in the elevator floor and rode the elevator up and down with that nurse until I regained myself. I remember reaching a point where I was so embarrassed that I didn't feel embarrassed anymore.

When my panic attacks reach their peak, I usually stumble, and wobble. My vision goes dark, and the room tilts. I have fell down a few times while vomiting, luckily I haven't been seriously injured from falling while having no vision or sense of direction. The worst for me was choking on vomit during an attack, hope I never do that ever again. I dont think i've ever lost conciousness but I have lost memory at times, so I don't know.

Sometimes, it begins simply as a feeling that something isn't 'right,' and then escalates from there. Normally if I'm in a really public place, my body can't handle the stress it's under and shuts down or passes out. If I'm at home especially alone, it can be a much longer drawn out panic attack, which is actually worse!
