Greetings. So it's my last year of high school, and I applied to universities a few weeks ago and I've been so stressed about it. I have applied to very competitive program, since that is where my interest lies (biomedical engineering), applying to the best universities in my area of Canada (Waterloo, McMaster, a few others). I applied to one university that isn't my program, but is my back up just in case everything goes wrong. It also relates to what I want to go into. I have been accepted to this one already. But the averages for these programs need 90+ averages, with my top choice only have a 40% chance of being accepted with a 90 average. My marks aren't this high. Because of my stress and everything else going against me, plus having a part-time job and doing extracurriculars, I don't have time to study. It takes me double the amount of time to get homework done and studying done than someone without my conditions. Plus, because of all this stress, I have not been studying as much lately because I am so stressed about getting in. I am also normally sleep deprived, getting about 5 1/2 to 6 hours a sleep per night. On weekends I sleep 12-14 hours at times. I do everything I can to study, I just don't have time. I also have a hard time starting to study, but once I get going, I am really good about it. I don't wish I could stop. I just can't myself to start, which is also one of my problems.

TL;DR
I just feel there is so much on my shoulders that I can't get everything done because there isn't enough hours in the day. I have school, and also have extra-curriculars, and a part time job. It also takes me 2x as long to study as "normal" people. It has caused stressed/anxiety, with sleep problems lately, plus anxiety about doing homework/studying. What should I do?

Post secondary institutions in Canada are required to have programs and assistance for disabled students - including diagnosed Anxiety. I would have applied as a disabled applicant. SImilarly, consider scholarships for students who fit this description.

If you do not get into the program the first time around, go ahead and start an Arts and Science degree (Biology?). Sometimes it is easier to transfer into a program as an existing student than as a first year applicant. Guidance counsellors at the universities can help you with how best to do so.

In the meantime, your current guidance counsellor should be a wealth of assistance to you for your application process now as well as providing support.

Hello. I am aware of these programs, and am planning to use them. I am also planning to get scholarships relating to my conditions. But this only applies once I've been accepted.

My program is one of those where transferring into is quite hard because there is a limited number of spots. Many programs have so many spots that is basically considered "unlimited". Mine is not the case. My first choice only has 60 spots, so if I don't get in, transferring in is nearly impossible unless someone else leaves the program. My second program has 140 spots, and the same thing as my first choice happens. Since they are competitive fields, I'm assuming no one is going to transfer out.

These programs are also specialized, in the sense that they are made for this program on day one. Not getting in and transferring would mean retaking a lot of courses. My last last choice was "Biology and biochemistry (health and biomedical stream)", and have already been accepted, so I said if all else doesn't work out, I'd go here, and probably try to get into my program as soon as possible.

I have already applied, and am playing the waiting game. No scholarships are currently available in the sense that they don't usually offer them until people have already gotten offers. I am planning on filling supplementary forms, stating special circumstances about me.

Support is kinda complicated right now. I don't prefer to talk to guidance councillors at my school. I tend to talk to other people at school.

But thank you for your advice
