so,

someone suggested to me that a good way to drown out the fireworks was to use noise canceling headphones.

I'm for this- I think it's a great Idea

my question:

which ones are good to get?

I actually don't know the first thing about headphones, so, relying on you guys!

thanks!

i can't give you the brand of noise cancellation headphones, but they work: we go to vegas a lot and the noise and light stimulation really trigger mania and insomnia and i must take addl. meds at night to sleep; however, i'm 70 yrs. old and no longer care what other people think, so the minute i get off the elevator from our room at the hotel, i put the noise cancellation headphones on when in the casino or passing thru it, as well as wearing sunglasses which also seem to help with the external stimulation of noise and lights. i suffer from anxiety as well.
