So I'm curious about my anxiety. In the mornings when I first wake up, my anxiety is the worse. The morning is when I am most likely to have a panic attack. Then by the end of the day I am perfectly fine. This past week I found myself in bed trying to get up and just couldn't and got in a ball and started crying. I hated feeling this way and I wanted it to stop. I am on Lexapro 20mg for anxiety and depression and I take it first thing when I wake up. I am also seeing a therapist once a week. Has anyone else experienced this or have any thoughts on what I can do to through this?

Not sure if it's the same thing but I did experience a similar thing for a while, waking up and not managing to get out of bed and just crying like there is no tomorrow. This was in a period of a lot of stress due to external circumstances so I think it has to do with coming from a relaxed state into pressure and responsibilities which can be very overwhelming.

Hello Oathkeeper007: I would suspect this is perhaps a neurochemical issue, perhaps related to your med, perhaps not.
