Not an anxiety resource per se but I like spiritual teacher Eckhart Tolle's website. It has lots of free stuff, including videos that teach mindfulness and meditation. When I am anxious I am either in the past, experiencing shame, guilt, anger, etc. over something that has already happened, or the future having fear from predicting negative outcomes. Staying in the NOW is the key to my spiritual and emotional health but frequently I need help getting/staying there. The present is Eckhart's main message.

Hands down, the best anxiety resource I've found is:

The Anxiety Guy, Dennis Simsek

He's on FB, YouTube, itunes and also has an app.

Bipolar Magazine online is free. They will send ALOT of material to your email.
Most important for me is to help myself first, before trying to help others, not trying to do too much, doing aerobic exercise, and not trying to do too much.

I am guilty of this myself.

Nice anxiety blog operated by a very nice women who knows what she's talking about. It's called The Reality of Anxiety.

I operate a panic attack education and recovery blog. We focus upon great content. I call it panicattackology.

New to Psych Central, so I can't post any links...

http://www.livinglifetothefull.com/

this provides free step-by-step CBT based self help programmes designed by a doctor Chris Williams who is recognised as one of the leading experts here in the UK. Downloadable worksheets and MP3s.
Would be interested in hearing if anyone tries it out and how useful they find it.
Needs commitment and time, but its very thorough.

hope that helps

I signed up to try. I can let you know about it if you are interested.

I love your pic of your kitty. He/she looks very sweet. I have a calico; she keeps me calm.

http://www.getselfhelp.co.uk/freedownloads2.htm

I found this site today and am posting it in forums where it may help others.
This link has free workseets for Social Anxiety, Worry, and many others!
It uses CBT - so if your T uses that method, it may help out a lot.

The only other one I joined was WebMD; they recently changed their format so two friends left and came over here. I'm having a problem navigating this site because there seems to be so much to learn and I'm not sure in what order I should be going. I will continue until I get it right, quitting is not a word to use in the battle of anxiety disorders.

An audio book called "Feel the Fear and do it anyway" by Susan Jeffers, PH.D. helped me get through a personal crisis. You can order it on Amazon.
