My T just showed me this video during our last visit and it helped me to better understand my fears and anxieties, and how to deal with them. I wanted to share it with all who struggle with anxiety, like me.
https://m.youtube.com/?#/watch?v=z-wyaP6xXwE It's an illustrated and animated metaphor taken from Russ Harris's book on ACT, which can be bought here: http://www.amazon.com/The-Happiness-.../dp/1590305841

I watched the video, but what happens when the demons multiply? I feel like there seems to be more and more of them each day.
It makes sense and it really makes a good example of how it feels. |

I have a site for anxiety/self improvement called createmeaningfulchange dot org.
Articles go in depth on how to change and interesting facts about mental health. I also recommend anxietycoach dot com. |

I can say try doing some breathing practices, stretch, know that everything will be okay. Know that you are not alone.

Anxietycoach.com has been very helpful for me--just adding to the chorus since some time has passed since it was originally shared here.
There's a zine too from Dr. Faith Harper I really like, it's available on the Microcosm Publishing site (I'm too new to be able to add the link here but you can find it easily), called "This is Your Brain on Anxiety: What Happens and What Helps." It's really short and straightforward, good for quick consultation in the moment. |

I do not have insurance anymore so I go thru that free apps in Google Play store. If you don't have an android, you can make your device android by getting the free bluestacks.com app . I got mine at CNET.
I found a uk therapy guy, I can't spell tonight, anyway he 's got a bunch of apps for in Google Play store for $4.99 a month, or $6.55 American. I can afford that. My Nook fades out with these apps, but got bluestacks app to watch on computer. Look him up on Wikipedia, he is Legit and there are some of his audio recordings on youtube also. His name is Glenn Harrold . I used to listen every day, but then wasn't able to act the caller's fantasy at my job, I was just too nice. |

THE reasons that brought me here is that my anxiety and depression were a bit out of control. So today, I listened to Glenn Harrolds anxiety awake audio hypnotherapy session, and feel much better. I had also stopped taking some vitamins, and so took a double dose of magnesium, B-12, and D3, just to get it back into my system. I know it is best to get all the vitamins and minerals from food, but I was reading about magnesium levels and what happens when you don't get the level you need. All the things that I had been experiencing, anxiety levels increasing, more depressed than usual , panic attacks, all those and other symptoms because I I had stopped taking 3 vitamins and my body was reacting, so look for yourself, and then decide.. may not need all those drugs.

I've looked around for all the websites that could give me more information about anxiety and panic disorders and how to stop them in the future. One I like especially is verywellmind.com
I thought maybe it might help us all. |

It took a long time to notice it but I lost control of how stressed I was getting. I would randomly start crying in the taxi on the way to a party or struggle to answer the phone at work because I was terrified. I felt like I was losing my mind – thoughts were racing constantly and I kept seeing images in my head of death. Recently I have stumbled upon this awesome vlogger called Anxiety guy this channel was the Best anxiety help for me Just goto to youtube and type The Anxiety Guy.

I would recommend a PMR (Progressive Muscular Relaxation) exercise along with self-hypnosis and also a desensitization schedule, where during the relaxed PMR state, one exposes oneself gradually to the worst fears of their life thru imagination. Breathing deeply even though discomforted during the exercise, one gradually tends to get de-sensitized to these phobias and fears and is more upto facing them, when confronted.

Bipolar Magazine online is free. They will send ALOT of material to your email.
Most important for me is to help myself first, before trying to help others, not trying to do too much, doing aerobic exercise, and not trying to do too much.
