Other than Psych Central, what are your favorite or top resources you visit regularly for this disorder or issue? Please reply to this thread and list a few of what you consider the best of the best online today.

Thank you!

I go to www.healingwell.com daily.

It is a wonderful place to go to get answers to questions you may have, and to recieve support and encouragement when you are going through a hard time.

People there are supportive, and there are many different areas for help, such as anxiety, depression, bipolar, breast cancer, and so much more.

I love it there!

well I found out a lot about anxiety on www.wikipedia.com. Just don't visit this website if you have a problem with obsessive compulsive disorder because before you know it you will be looking up every disease in the book and looking up all of your medications you ever took.

I accidentally became dependent on someone again and am feeling pretty upset and ashamed about it. I know there has been along history of it starting with family but the frustrating part is that I seem to take all these steps to become independent and end up in the same mess over and over again - - either fiercly independent or dependent. I am feeling really ashamed because everyone in this town has seen it happened and I feel that I am being judged for making such a fool of myself and I don't blame them. Would love to have others to talk to.

i'm not sure what you really need to hear. perhaps what you need is to know that we all make mistakes and it can take a long time to learn something fully. being mean to yourself will never make you smarter or well - so bury the stick and stop beating yourself up.

take this latest deal as a lesson to learn from. there may always be people to see your mistakes and judge you - but you do not have to accept their judgments. tomorrow is a new day and you can always begin again from where you are.

meet people online here and let them support you. you are welcome here Missn.

Wow, thanks pegasus! Excellent! Phantom of the Opera is one of my favorite soundtracks! Sometimes I forget the simplest solutions - like the healing power of music! Great resource!

Nice anxiety blog operated by a very nice women who knows what she's talking about. It's called The Reality of Anxiety.

I operate a panic attack education and recovery blog. We focus upon great content. I call it panicattackology.

New to Psych Central, so I can't post any links...

http://www.livinglifetothefull.com/

this provides free step-by-step CBT based self help programmes designed by a doctor Chris Williams who is recognised as one of the leading experts here in the UK. Downloadable worksheets and MP3s.
Would be interested in hearing if anyone tries it out and how useful they find it.
Needs commitment and time, but its very thorough.

hope that helps
