Monday I start taking one of the more reputable anxiety meds than the crappy Xanax that only lasts 5 hours. I start my first round of klonopin that lasts 15 hours. I took it in the hospital, made me a little sleepy but not like knock out Trazadone sleepy just foggy.

Benzos are only a crutch I've heard it a thousand times but i've been on a benzo since 1997... that's like 30 years of my life my brain has been permanently hardwired for. I look for a good change this year and after the holidays to get back into the habit of AM &PM Yoga DVD that helped out my anxiety a few years ago. Not so flexable more inflatable so i'll need that stretch strap.

Cheers and Happy Holidays!

I hope klonopin works well for you. I've been taking it for years and it has done wonders for my anxiety.

I hope you will find the new med better.

I like crappy Xanax just because it doesn't work for that long. I don't need to be drugged all the time the way my own anxiety works.

I usually have to change my benzo every other month because my tolerance goes up and my dose stops working. I've been rotating between all of them really. Currently taking restoril and I like it a lot. It's more of a physical calming effect without making me "out of it".
