Hi i take valerian root for anxiety i only take it once a day and it helps but i still get nervous during the day can i take 450mg as needed durning the day or is there some other supplment out there

I occasionally take valerian root - it does have a calming effect for me. I have also tried L-Theanine, which apparently has a similar calming effect and also may produce better concentration because it raises alpha wave brain activity. Personally I find valerian has more of an effect, but different people will have differing responses. Some people swear by chamomile tea as a natural way to relax.

Then what is a supplment i can take as needed like a benzo but without the drownisess
