I already have anxiety and what I accidentally did to my hair is not helping. I didn't want to wait to go to the haircutting place because all I was trying to do was trim one section of hair near my forehead. My hair was damp and I accidentally cut way too much off. I do need to wear a hat now as it looks very bad and will give me anxiety if I or anyone else has to see it all the time. Will the hat prevent my hair I messed up from growing if I wear it all day every day around others? I'm going to a concert next month on March 10th, I have so much anxiety now that my hair(fringe area, forehead) will still look way too short and uneven. Do you think it will grow back to normal lenght before I go to the concert next month? Has this ever happened to you before?
Hugs from:

I don't know how much it needs to grow to look normal again and I don't know if it'll grow back by then. But wearing a hat won't prevent it from growing or anything. You can always try a hairstyle/hairdo where you can't see it. Maybe gel or pin it back with the rest of your hair. Good luck.

Ugh, YES! I have definitely been there...many a time! Some people might make light of a bad cut, but I think it can be really frustrating. Thing is, hair grows. Yes! And yours will grow. A hat will not prevent hair from growing. Annnd...my guess is that it doesn't look as bad as you feel like it does.

Here's a suggestion: Can you go to a salon and have it fixed? Stylists can do amazing things.
