My anxiety cripples me and I can't even go to school. I worry and worry and worry for no reason whatsoever. I am thinking about my 9:00 am right now, and how I will justify to myself to get up, get ready and then grab the keys and turn around and not go after all.

Sometimes when my anxiety is controlling me I tell myself that a part of me is a little child, and the adult part of me has to take the child part and guide it where the adult knows the whole self needs to go. Then I allow the adult to be in control, without overthinking...I just do what needs to be done.
I hope this makes sense, and helps. |
