So a couple years ago I developed a very noticeable involuntary arm tremor when extremely anxious. I just started my second semester of graduate school and it seems like that same tremor keeps coming back routinely. This used to be something that only happened when I was under extreme stress, now it seems to be every day. Either I am constantly under that much anxiety or the threshold for it is becoming lower. Does anyone else have issues like this and how do you manage it? Thanks.

Hmm, at times my hands/legs will shake when I'm panicking, which is normal. There are a few times here and there when my hands will shake even when I'm calm, but it has never been serious enough for me to deeply question it lol Sometimes my legs will shake as well, but I've always attributed that to ADHD.
I wish I had some amazing advice for when this happens, but honestly I just accept it and move on lol
For your sake, I hope you find the cause of your tremors :/ Hopefully it's not anything serious and there's some simple way for you to get rid of them. Good luck

Thank you, it has been going constantly for about three days straight now. So hopefully I will find something to help soon.

I went ahead and did some quick Googling and then skimmed this page:
https://www.ninds.nih.gov/Disorders/...mor-Fact-Sheet

It appears to have some good information about tremors, possible causes, etc. However, it does state that sadly there's no cure for most tremors. Maybe you can check out that website to gain a better understanding of what could be going on with your body. If anything there describes what you're experiencing you might be able to visit with a doctor and find out if your particular type of tremors are treatable.

Again, best of luck to you.

my body has discovered muscle jerks in the last year in a half, which started as a twitch in my stomach while driving. they can be pretty severe and long-lasting way beyond anxiousness. i would surmise this to be the work of anxiety, as my doctor and neurologist have already, especially when considering my long list of symptoms spanning across the last 5 years.

it is a huge pain to deal with.
