Yes, somebody asked "jingle creators" how to get rid of a tune and you either have to play/sing the whole thing through beginning to end (and thus get closure) or replace it with something else.

funny, since i'm deaf and don't get songs stuck in my head, i've had this experience with a movie that i saw years ago. it was "butterfly effect" with ashton kutcher. it was weird, it got stuck in my head for the entire month after i saw it. as time went on, it died out. lol. i thought it was whacky to have a movie get stuck in your head like a song does.

lol...especially having it get stuck in my head again after i had my stroke over 1 1/2 years ago. at first, i thought i was coming down with that weird brain that my dad had which killed him a few years back. what a weird coincidence and irony it was, since i found out that my dad died in 2001 only a few months before i had my stroke (occurred december 2005). my dad's sisters couldn't find me, since they somehow lost my address. i had seen butterfly effect when it first came out in video a few years ago. how's that for keeping my hair stuck out for a month! fortunately, i didn't have my dad's brain disease - it's pick's disease. and, fortunately, it's not heritable. thank god.....
