Pretty much the title.
I went out with a close friend and his other friends, and I don't have that much in common with their topics and personalities, yet I love their friendly and casual vibe, and I laugh and connect as much as possible to open my mind to various kinds of people. I was mostly silent and listening. Does anyone have any advice? Most importantly, what can I say regarding the thread title? |

When I was young I was a quiet person. I didn't talk much. But I always listened well. When people would ask the (stupid) question, "Why are you so quiet?" I'd reply with, "I guess I'm just a quiet person."
I mean, what else is there to say... |

You could have said "I am just enjoying listening to you guys", and they would all love you.

Yeah I like TishaBuv's response. The actual truth for me is that I'm by nature a quiet introvert who prefers to listen to others but she's spot on.
