Is stimulus bad for anxiety?

Yes I would day it is. I've struggled with quite a bit of anxiety over the years. Nowadays I don't even have anything to feel anxious about. But after so many years, I think my body just doesn't know how to be any other way. Whenever things get hectic or tense, or there's a lot going on around me or I'm rushing around trying to get something done, my anxiety level spikes. I try to keep my environment as calm & quiet as possible. But, of course, there's only so much one can do.
